| The Mutated Tefer is a breed of what were commonly known as Tefer; before GPI began research into combining living creatures and mechanical equipment. With the information that they obtained from PraeTechs experiments and GPIs own alterations, work was started with the small, domesticated species. Though they managed to breed a small amount of bio-wiring and strange ‘orbs’ into the creatures, they couldn’t breed past the Light and Dark Brown coat types, or get any further then just these mechanical mutations.
However; in the midst of the failing project, GreenShield got wind of the experimentation and called upon the public to start up a rally to stop GPI and they’re cruel testing programme. After months of protests, gaining public support and pressuring the government, the project was ruled unsuccessful and scrapped. Some GPI officials stepped down from their positions, and the Mutated Tefers were given to the public to try and breed back to normal. Coat types that have been discovered are: black, dark brown, light brown and white, with five seperate sub-coats of: black, brown, cream, silver and white. Adult Mutated Tefer are much calmer than the much rowdier kits or babies. They still enjoy playing, but not as often, taking to sleeping longer hours, or eating. The full course of the mechanical mutations has taken their full course, with extra growths forming. Those around joints are like those seen on the Dominant Mutated Tefer, contract and expand as the creature moves. They often form small packs, and enjoy being with other Tefer. Though a prominent hierarchy is never seen, these creatures live in class system of alpha males and females right down to babies at the bottom. |
